On the afternoon of November 28th, Tesla Vice President Tao Lin posted on Weibo, saying, "The payment cycle for supply chain companies in 2024 has been further shortened compared to last year, and now it only takes about 90 days
Tao Lin stated that by working together with supplier partners to achieve win-win outcomes and through technological innovation to increase efficiency and reduce costs, enterprises can go further, industries can thrive, and consumers can continue to receive the best products.

did not respond whether to negotiate with the supplier annually
Tao Lin introduced on Weibo that over 95% of the components at Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory come from local Chinese suppliers. Tesla's achievements in China and even globally are inseparable from these partners.
Tao Lin has mentioned the above data multiple times before. For example, Tao Lin posted on Weibo on September 6, 2023, saying, "Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory has a localization rate of over 95%, and China's intelligent manufacturing is going global. We are proud to grow together with our Chinese partners
Recently, some leading car companies have confirmed annual negotiations with suppliers and proposed price reduction targets to suppliers, which has attracted market attention.
The reporter interviewed Tesla regarding the above situation, asking if it has conducted annual negotiations with suppliers and if it has set price reduction targets for suppliers, but as of press time, Tesla has not responded.

Recently launched a new round of promotional activities
Tao Lin mentioned on Weibo that Tesla is increasing efficiency and reducing costs through technological innovation.
On November 25th, Tesla announced a limited time discount policy, offering a 10000 yuan discount on the final payment for Model Y's limited time delivery, and an additional 5-year interest free policy.
The above promotional activities are applicable to the Model Y rear wheel drive version and the long-range all wheel drive version, and are valid from November 25th to December 31st.
At present, the rear wheel drive version of Model Y starts at 239900 yuan. If consumers choose the 5-year zero interest financial plan, the monthly payment starts at 2667 yuan.
To achieve its full year sales target for 2024, Tesla has recently launched a series of promotional activities worldwide.
For example, Tesla has launched preferential policies in the US market, showing that consumers who pick up Tesla before December 31st can enjoy 3 months of free supercharging and FSD (fully autonomous driving capability).
In the third quarter of 2024, Tesla delivered approximately 463000 electric vehicles globally, setting a new quarterly delivery record. During the earnings conference call, Tesla expects a slight increase in delivery volume for the full year of 2024, with a year-on-year increase of 20% to 30% in delivery volume for 2025.
As of press time, Tesla's stock price is reported at $332.89 per share, with a total market value of $1.07 trillion.
