At this annual meeting, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University signed a contract with the Qianhai Management Bureau on site, and the Qianhai Frontier Technology Innovation Center of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was officially established, located at the Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Youth Dream Factory.
It is reported that the innovation center will be positioned as a talent exchange, cooperation, and incubation platform, focusing on industry university research cooperation in high-tech fields. Based on the high-level research of Hong Kong Polytechnic University in artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, design, and smart healthcare, the center will carry out direct technology transfer and incubation.
It is worth mentioning that just two months ago, the University of Hong Kong also established the "Youth Science and Technology Innovation College" in DreamWorks, focusing on entrepreneurship incubation in fields such as artificial intelligence and big health.
Zhao Ruheng, Vice President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, told Southern Finance and Economics reporters that Hong Kong universities are "settling down" in Qianhai, firstly because they value the developed economy and broad market prospects of the science and technology innovation industry in Qianhai. Qianhai has a large number of start-up companies, overseas enterprises, and multinational corporations, and Hong Kong schools are able to easily carry out research cooperation and technology transformation with these companies, achieving a win-win situation.
Qianhai provides great support for innovation and entrepreneurship in terms of funding, space, and other aspects. For example, Qianhai offers DreamWorks space at a service fee of 1 yuan per square meter, as well as high standard decoration, allowing us to move in immediately, "said Zhao Ruheng.
It is reported that in addition to undertaking the function of entrepreneurship incubation, the innovation center will also be built into a world-class cooperation and exchange platform, bringing together universities from Hong Kong and Macao, and linking with mainland universities to promote exchanges among all parties through international conferences, academic forums, and other means.

IMD Business School settles in Greater China headquarters
In addition to Hong Kong University, Qianhai has also attracted an international business school - IMD International Management Development School (IMD Business School) from Switzerland. It was announced at the meeting that IMD Greater China headquarters has settled in Qianhai International Talent Port.
It is reported that IMD Business School was founded in 1990 and has been ranked in the top three of the Financial Times' global annual executive education rankings for nine consecutive years since 2012.
Mark Griffin told Southern Finance All Media reporters that the entrepreneurial community is the foundation of business school education, and Qianhai has a large number of start-ups, overseas enterprises, and multinational companies. Entrepreneurs need new knowledge in their transformation, and IMD Business School's executive training here will have a broad market space.

It is reported that the office of Qianhai International Talent Port is the first office of IMD Business School in Greater China. Google establishes' Cross border E-commerce Acceleration Center '
Data shows that the Qianhai Cross border Trade Logistics Supervision Center has ranked first in the country in terms of package volume and value for three consecutive years. From January to August this year, the total import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce in Qianhai was 90.86 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 231.2%.
The cross-border e-commerce in Qianhai has entered the fast lane of development, naturally attracting more and more top enterprises to layout. At the annual talent conference, Google announced the establishment of a cross-border e-commerce acceleration center in Qianhai and settled in Qianhai International Talent Port.
In June of this year, the "Google Cross border E-commerce Acceleration Program" was officially launched, and the first Google Cross border E-commerce Acceleration Center landed in Xiamen.
It is reported that the Acceleration Center is a one-stop independent website incubation service platform created by Google.
