On November 7th local time, Stellantis Group and Infineon announced that they will jointly develop the power architecture of Stellantis Group's electric vehicles, aiming to improve energy efficiency and increase vehicle range. Both parties have signed a supply and production capacity booking agreement for PROFET power switches and silicon carbide CoolSiC semiconductors. Infineon's PROFET intelligent power switch will replace traditional fuses and reduce the layout of wiring harnesses. Silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors will support Stellantis Group's existing progress in standardizing its power modules. In addition, Stellantis Group and Infineon are also expanding their cooperation and launching a joint power laboratory.
