Alibaba Cloud releases an official statement
According to a statement released on Alibaba Cloud's official WeChat account, on November 7th, a self media article titled "Alibaba's" Abbess "Zheng Junfang will resign as Alibaba Cloud's Executive Director and General Manager" was purely fabricated and seriously untrue. Alibaba Cloud reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility for relevant self media.
According to public sources, Zheng Junfang was nicknamed "Shitai" within Alibaba and joined Alibaba in 2010. Prior to this, he worked at KPMG for 13 years and served as the Deputy CFO of Alibaba Group. In December 2017, Zheng Junfang was appointed as Alibaba's Chief Risk Officer, responsible for data and information security on its platforms. In July 2021, he became Alibaba's Chief Customer Officer.
In May 2023, the Chairman and General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. was changed from Zhang Jianfeng to Cai Yinghua; In September, Cai Yinghua stepped down as the legal representative, chairman and general manager, Jiang Fang and Xu Hong stepped down as directors, Feng Yunle stepped down as supervisor, and Zheng Junfang was added as the legal representative, executive director and general manager.
Recently, Zheng Junfang attended the 18th United Nations Internet Governance Forum as the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Alibaba Cloud Intelligent Group. At the forum, Zheng Junfang introduced that Alibaba Cloud's "Tongyi Qianwen" model has been opened to the whole society and has launched the "Qianwen Partner" program to jointly innovate the ecosystem with industry partners. In the future, Alibaba Cloud will also create more enterprise exclusive models to promote Qianxing Baiye to share intelligent dividends faster and better.

At this year's Yunqi Conference, Alibaba showcased the complete cloud computing industry chain while multiple large models were unveiled, including the release of Tongyi Qianwen 2.0 with a parameter scale of hundreds of billions.
Alibaba Cloud Chief Technology Officer Zhou Jingren stated that big models are the core technology of this wave of AI, and the quality of basic models largely determines the prospects of AI industrialization. Alibaba's self-developed large model Tongyi Qianwen 2.0 provides "intelligent" guarantee for the deepening of AI industrialization through Alibaba Cloud's newly upgraded artificial intelligence platform PAI.
