Red Star Capital Bureau reported on December 8th that in response to the recent "internal speech" controversy circulating on the internet, Alibaba Entertainment Group CEO Fan Lu posted an apology on the intranet yesterday evening, saying that he intended to liven up the atmosphere, but did not grasp the scale of his words, which caused harm to employees' emotions. He will impose a three-month salary penalty and reflect on himself.
On December 6th, Fan Luyuan gave an internal speech at Lingxi Interactive Entertainment, and some of the content subsequently circulated online, attracting attention. According to Interface News, in his speech, Fan Luyuan emphasized the "Ali bloodline" theory, criticized the team culture of Lingxi, and said that "there was no Ali bloodline flowing from the beginning".

According to public data, Fan Luyuan was one of the first partners of Ali. He joined Alipay in 2007 and served successively as the president of Alipay Business Group and the president of Wealth Business Group of Ant Financial Services Group. He led the team to initiate fast payment in 2010 and launched the Internet financial product Yu'ebao in 2013.
In 2017, Fan Luyuan succeeded Yu Yongfu as the CEO of Alibaba Pictures (01060. HK) Group, and later became the President of Alibaba's Big Entertainment Business Group, concurrently serving as the President of Youku; In November 2018, he officially took the helm of Alibaba Entertainment Group; In March 2023, appointed as the CEO of Da Culture and Entertainment Group.
Starting from January 2024, Fan Luyuan will represent Alibaba Group in charge of Lingxi Interactive Entertainment. Lingxi Interactive Entertainment is a research and operation integrated game brand under Alibaba Group. Its self-developed game works include "Three Kingdoms: Strategic Edition" and "Three Kingdoms: Fantasy Continent".
