According to the Daily Telegraph, the Russian government's fine on Google has reached approximately $200000000000 (35 digits), far exceeding the total global GDP (approximately $110 trillion in 2023, which is a 15 digit figure).
According to reports, Google lost the lawsuit in 2020 for blocking multiple Russian media accounts on its video platform YouTube, and has been fined 100000 rubles per day since then.
Legal professionals told TASS that if fines are not paid within 9 months, the amount of fines will double daily without any upper limit. Only by complying with the court ruling can Google return to the Russian market. This number far exceeds Google's own market value.
