As the pioneer of implantable pacemakers, Abbott insists on innovation in improving the diagnostic efficiency and treatment quality of arrhythmia. Since 2022, the Abbott AVEIR VR single chamber implantable leadless cardiac pacemaker, which is used to treat bradycardia, has embarked on an exciting journey in China through the "gateway to innovation". This year, it was successfully approved for market in China and completed the first batch of implantation surgeries.
At this year's CIIE, the AVEIR DR dual chamber implantable leadless cardiac pacemaker will also be unveiled. As the world's first truly synchronized dual chamber wireless pacemaker, it can achieve interconnection communication between the right atrium and right ventricle devices and true dual chamber wireless pacing through Abbott's unique i2i communication technology.
In addition, Abbott's Instant Series blood glucose monitoring system covers digital solutions from individuals to hospitals. At the Science and Technology Day event, Abbott announced in advance the upcoming launch of the Instant Sensing 2 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System at the CIIE. It does not require fingertip blood collection and can view glucose levels in real time through sensors and mobile applications. It also adds Bluetooth transmission and optional high and low blood sugar alarm functions, ensuring stable and healthy blood sugar levels.
It is reported that the annual CIIE is an important opportunity for Abbott to comprehensively showcase cutting-edge technology and innovative achievements in fields such as diagnosis, medical devices, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals.
