On October 14th, Xu Ran, CEO of JD.com, stated at the JD.com 11.11 press conference that in the current fierce market competition, there is still a phenomenon of "vicious competition" and bad money driving out good money in the industry. In the next three years, JD.com will recruit at least 10000 procurement and sales personnel who will search for sources around the world to bring back more affordable and high-quality products for users, allowing them to truly feel "cheap and good", and also making brand merchants sell well, grow, and earn money.
JD.com also announced that on the evening of October 14th at 8:00 pm, it will launch a 11.11 promotion to sell spot goods. Not only is there a direct drop throughout the store, but consumers can also receive an additional subsidy of 60 yuan per day, and a 50 yuan discount for every 300 yuan spent across stores.
On October 14th, JD.com simultaneously launched the "Super Flash Sale Day". On the evenings of October 31st and November 10th, JD.com will respectively launch the "Billion Subsidy Day" and "Peak 28 Hours".
During JD 11.11, multiple AI products, including JD Cloud Yanxi Digital Person, will be available for free trial by brand merchants. Together with JD Live Digital Person's "CEO Price" campaign, we aim to help our partners win on JD 11.11. At the same time, JD.com also showcased for the first time a product display video generated by the Yanxi Video Large Model at the press conference. This feature is expected to help brand merchants improve the production efficiency of video content, meet the needs of image visualization, product seeding, short drama marketing, and more.
On November 11th this year, JD.com is expected to help the number of small and micro businesses with daily sales exceeding 10000 yuan increase by more than twice year-on-year, and the number of businesses with sales exceeding 5 million yuan increase by more than 50% year-on-year.
