All three major Japanese car manufacturers' new car sales in China for September were released on October 10th. All three companies are lower than the same period last year, with Honda experiencing a 42.9% decline.
Honda's sales of 62586 vehicles have been declining for eight consecutive months. The public relations manager of the company stated that "despite the overall shrinking market, the demand for new energy vehicles continues to grow, but this type of product has not been fully deployed.
Toyota's car sales fell 9.2% to 160500 units, marking the eighth consecutive month of decline. Nissan reduced by 3.8% to 61395 vehicles. (Kyodo News)
