According to informed sources, Sony Group is considering acquiring Japanese publisher Kadokawa. The two companies have held talks and discussions are still ongoing. Sony may also decide not to make a formal offer. Both entertainment groups are major shareholders of FromSoftware Inc. FromSoftware is the developer of popular PlayStation games such as Elden Ring and Bloodborne Curse. (Bloomberg)
