Boeing and its largest union announced on Friday local time that contract negotiations will resume on October 7th. Both sides seek to reach an agreement to end the strike of approximately 33000 Boeing workers at the US West Coast factory. Boeing and negotiators from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers have been working hard to find common ground, but recently failed to reach an agreement on key issues in the presence of federal mediators.
