On September 28th, according to official sources from Toyota, the global production of Toyota cars (excluding Daihatsu and Hino, including Lexus) in August was 709571 units, a year-on-year decrease of 11.2%; Global sales were 826863 units, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%.
In the Japanese domestic market, Toyota's sales in August were 109505 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%; In the Chinese market, Toyota's sales in August decreased by 13.5% year-on-year to 152065 units. From the perspective of power type, Toyota's sales of pure electric vehicles in August were 12682, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; Toyota's hybrid vehicle sales reached 336848 units, a year-on-year increase of 22.4%.
From the performance of Toyota Motor Group, including its subsidiaries Daihatsu and Hino Motors, the global production of Toyota Motor Group in August this year was 808023 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 12.6%; Global sales were 888689 units, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%.
