Recently, General Motors and Hyundai jointly announced that they have agreed to jointly develop and produce passenger and commercial vehicles, and to collaborate in potential areas such as internal combustion engines, new energy, electric and hydrogen technologies. Both parties have reached a consensus to utilize their complementary scale and advantages to reduce costs and provide customers with a wider range of vehicles and technologies more quickly.
It is reported that the agreement was signed by the leaders of both parties, namely Mary Bora, Chairman and CEO of General Motors, and Zheng Yixuan, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group.
