E-Company News: On September 14th local time, Oriri, CEO of Ryanair Ireland, stated that the recent strike by Boeing employees may affect the number of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft delivered to Ryanair before the summer of 2025. Ryanair is the largest low-cost airline in Europe and one of Boeing's largest customers. Oriri said that the original plan was to receive 30 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft before next summer, but Boeing's operational problems caused this number to drop to 25. Now Boeing employees are on strike again, and if the strike lasts for 3 to 4 weeks, Ryanair may only receive 20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft by next summer. Oriri also stated that Boeing's production may take two to three years to get back on track. Due to dissatisfaction with the labor agreement, over 30000 employees of Boeing Company in the United States went on strike on the 13th, marking the company's first strike in 16 years.
