The four teams that won this award are "Zongheng", "Bailian", "Yunfan" and "Qingzhou". They have made breakthrough progress in areas such as large language model training, innovation in pre training techniques, application in commercial search scenarios, and lightweight model construction. Among them, the "Zongheng" team successfully solved the problem of efficient training of the 10000 card cluster for the large language model, providing strong support for the efficient iteration of the Wenxin large model; The "Bailian" team focuses on innovative pre training techniques, significantly improving the effectiveness of the Wenxin large model; The "Yunfan" team has successfully applied generative modeling technology to commercial search scenarios, promoting the commercialization process of AI technology; The "Qingzhou" team is committed to innovating lightweight models and model production mechanisms, providing important support for business AI reconstruction and the creation of AI native applications.
Robin Lee reiterated the selection criteria of Baidu's highest award at the awarding site: the project should be meaningful enough, the results should exceed expectations, and the team size should be less than 10 people. He stated that this standard has remained unchanged since its establishment, aiming to encourage "small teams to achieve great things". This year, all shortlisted teams met the selection criteria and therefore won all awards.
