On August 27th, Xiaopeng MONA M03 was launched, with a 52 minute order exceeding 10000 units and a 48 hour order exceeding 30000 units, becoming another popular product of Zhaoqing Intelligent Manufacturing. At the same time, the brand new Xiaopeng MONA M03 produced in bulk at Xiaopeng Motors' Zhaoqing base is neatly arranged and ready to go.
The launch of Xiaopeng MONA M03 means that advanced intelligent driving A-class vehicles will be mass-produced first in Zhaoqing, further stimulating the development momentum of the new energy vehicle industry cluster in Zhaoqing High tech Zone.
Since settling in Zhaoqing High tech Zone in 2017, Xiaopeng Motors has continuously increased capital and expanded production, becoming the main enterprise in the Zhaoqing new energy vehicle industry chain. The Xiaopeng P7 produced by Xiaopeng Motors has also set a record for the fastest production of 10000 units of a "new force in car manufacturing".
In 2023, Zhaoqing and Zhaoqing High tech Zone once again partnered with Xiaopeng Motors to introduce the Xiaopeng Intelligent New Energy Vehicle new model project into the production base in Zhaoqing. On January 26th of this year, Xiaopeng Motors' Zhaoqing factory launched a new model production line renovation project, upgrading the entire vehicle production line to increase production capacity.
Throughout the years, Zhaoqing High tech Zone has regarded the cultivation and development of the new energy vehicle industry as the "number one project" to promote high-quality economic development in the entire district. By holding a new energy vehicle industry investment conference, creating the Xiaopeng Intelligent Automotive Supporting Parts Industrial Park, establishing a joint investment promotion mechanism, Zhaoqing promotes the settlement of upstream and downstream projects in the Xiaopeng automotive industry chain, and provides "doorstep" guarantees.
At the beginning of this year, the Bojun automotive parts production project invested by Xiaopeng Motors' first tier supplier was successfully launched. Zhaoqing High tech Zone provides full chain and full process "mother style" services for enterprises, promotes smooth trial production of the project, and helps Xiaopeng Motors' new car model project achieve on-site component matching.
Nowadays, Zhaoqing Dawang New Energy Intelligent Automobile Industry City and Xiaopeng Intelligent Automobile Supporting Parts Industrial Park have been listed as Guangdong Provincial Automobile Parts Characteristic Industrial Parks, becoming key positions for the development of new energy vehicles and automobile parts industry in the province. There are over 70 enterprises related to the new energy vehicle industry chain in Zhaoqing High tech Zone, covering areas such as automobile vehicle manufacturing, three electric system manufacturing, air conditioning seat system manufacturing, automotive aftermarket such as automotive modification film, industrial chain supporting equipment manufacturing, and technical services.

Building a pattern of circular economy development
While Xiaopeng Motors is producing new car models at its Zhaoqing base, another leading enterprise in the chain, Ruiqing Times, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningde Times, will continue to expand its production capacity. The second factory will be completed and put into operation within the year, and will build the province's first full chain energy storage product production base covering battery cell production to electrical boxes, cabinets, and container system integration.
Driven by the "banyan tree effect" of the Ruiqing era, Zhaoqing High tech Zone is accelerating the establishment of a green energy storage technology application innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market as the guide, and the combination of industry, academia, research and application. It is promoting the scale and multi-level development of the new energy storage industry, and creating a high-quality cluster for the research and development of new energy storage materials, the production and manufacturing of new energy storage batteries, and comprehensive application innovation. In the past two years, the new energy storage industry in the district has developed rapidly, with a completed output value of 32.089 billion yuan in 2023, showing a trend of keeping pace with the new energy vehicle industry.
At the on-site meeting of Guangdong Provincial Industrial Park Assistance for the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project" held in July this year, Zhaoqing High tech Zone (Zhaoqing Dawang Industrial Transfer Park) was awarded the provincial-level new energy storage characteristic industrial park plaque, becoming the only new energy storage characteristic industrial park in the province.
As one of the first batch of national carbon peak pilot parks, Zhaoqing High tech Zone not only vigorously develops the new energy storage industry, but also regards energy conservation, carbon reduction, and synergistic efficiency as important measures to promote high-quality development of the industrial economy. It focuses on building a steam supply chain and a circular economy industrial ecological chain, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain and supply chain towards clean production and intelligence, and constructing a circular economy development pattern of small circulation within enterprises, circulation within the industrial chain, and large circulation within the region.
The solid waste generated by Guangdong Shanying Paper is handed over to Guoneng Zhaoqing Power Plant for coupled power generation and disposal, which provides steam for it. The large amount of general industrial solid waste generated by Guoneng's thermal and electric coal-fired machines also becomes the raw material for Guangdong Hairong Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., realizing the middle cycle of the industrial chain. At present, the correlation of this circular economy industry chain has reached 75%, achieving three benefits at once: resource recycling, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and pollution reduction.
As the scale of centralized heating in the park continues to expand, the process of using boilers for heating in multiple industries such as food and batteries is gradually being replaced. Zhaoqing High tech Zone has attracted nearly a hundred enterprises such as Dali Food, Wen's Dairy, and Steaming and Cooking to settle in. The green and sustainable circular economy development model in the park is widely favored by enterprises.
