According to Nikkei News, the Governor of Kumamoto Prefecture, Takashi Kimura, revealed at a regular press conference on December 27th that JASM, the operating subsidiary of TSMC's Kumamoto factory, has started mass production this month. The TSMC Kumamoto factory is an important production base established by TSMC in Japan. Its commissioning marks a significant progress in Japan's semiconductor manufacturing industry and will inject new impetus into the local economy and technological industry development.
