Beijing News Shell Finance News On August 31, the WeChat official account of the Legal Department of Weilai released the "Statement on Recent Malicious Rumors", saying that the false information of "Weilai declared bankruptcy" suddenly appeared on the Internet yesterday, which was then widely spread maliciously, suspected of serious violations of the law. Weilai has called the police and will take other legal means to investigate the legal responsibility of the offenders who planned, produced and spread the rumors.
In a statement, NIO's legal department stated that the internet is not a lawless place, and the development of the automotive industry requires healthy competition.
