On August 28th, according to Agence France Presse, Toyota announced that due to the approaching typhoon, all of its factories in Japan will suspend production.
A Toyota spokesperson told Agence France Presse that from the afternoon shift on the 28th to the daytime on the 29th, the production line of the company's Japanese factory will temporarily stop operating.
According to previous reports, Typhoon Shanshan, the 10th typhoon of 2024, arrived near the southern coast of Kyushu Island in Japan on the morning of the 28th local time. It is expected to continue northward and make landfall in Kagoshima Prefecture, the southernmost part of Kyushu Island, in the early hours of the 29th local time. Currently, meteorological warnings have been issued in many parts of Japan.
