Pfizer announced on July 9th that the company is initiating the process of determining a successor for Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer's Chief Scientist and President of Global Research and Medicine. This process is expected to last for several months and may continue until early next year. Pfizer will search for a new Chief Scientist from outside, and Dolsten will assist in the search and continue to hold the current position until the successor takes office and completes the necessary transition.
