Recently, Tsinghua University and Nike announced another collaboration in the field of sustainability, officially launching the "Tsinghua Nike Sustainable Development Leadership Project" to jointly cultivate active promoters and leaders of future sustainable development, and help achieve the "dual carbon" goals.
During his visit to Tsinghua University, John Donahoe, President and CEO of Nike Group, stated, "Sustainable development is integrated into every aspect of Nike's business. However, only through collaborative efforts across various fields can greater impact and change be achieved. Tsinghua University is a world-class institution, and we are honored to expand our cooperation with Tsinghua University to jointly help cultivate young talents with leadership and innovative spirit in the field of sustainable development."
The Tsinghua Nike Sustainable Development Leadership Project is another in-depth collaboration between Nike and Tsinghua University in the field of sustainable development, following the joint launch of the "Carbon Neutrality Industry University Research Deep Integration Special Plan" during the 6th China International Import Expo. It will be officially launched in September 2024.
