On June 5th local time, Honda announced that it had started producing fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) in Marisville, Ohio, USA. The fuel cell system of this hydrogen fuel cell vehicle was jointly developed by Honda and General Motors. Honda was the first car company to mass produce FCV passenger cars in the United States.
