On May 28th, Costco opened its doors in Jiangning District, Nanjing. It is understood that as the first fully ecological flagship store in China, this store is equipped with a membership gas station on the basis of a membership supermarket. At the same time, the store is equipped with tire centers, optometry rooms, hearing centers, and large parking lots.
Public information shows that Nanjing Kaishi has introduced about 4000 products from around the world. Three days before opening, the store will adopt a phased appointment system for entry, with three time slots per day. Each time slot can reserve 7000 seats, and the maximum daily passenger flow is about 20000 people. The member gas station located next to the store was first put into operation on May 9th, capable of accommodating 24 vehicles for refueling and supporting self-service refueling. In addition, the online shopping service for Nanjing Kaishike will be ready for launch 3-4 weeks after the official opening of the store.
According to the official website of the market opener, there are currently 7 stores in Chinese Mainland, respectively in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and other places. Among them, the Shenzhen store opened in January this year, making it the first store of the opening customer in South China. At present, the total number of global members of Kaishi Ke exceeds 100 million.
