Stellantis Group announced on May 27th local time that it plans to assemble a hybrid version of a Jeep at its Melfi factory in southern Italy and the Fiat 500 hybrid version at its Mirafiori factory in Turin. This move will help Stellantis achieve its goal of producing 1 million vehicles in Italy by 2030, compared to last year's production of approximately 750000 vehicles, despite a slowdown in demand for electric vehicles.
