Apple plans to simplify its iPad product line. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman stated in an article that Apple plans to thoroughly reform its iPad product line in 2024 to reduce the variety of products and increase sales. The report points out that Apple plans to reduce the confusion between the iPad Pro and Air, with the Pro series undergoing significant reforms to become a clear top-level model, and the iPad Air serving as the middle layer. The new Pro and Air will be launched around March next year. In addition, when the 11th generation iPad is released, Apple will gradually phase out the 9th generation models that still have the Home button and large bezels. The discontinuation of the ninth generation iPad should ultimately lead Apple to gradually phase out some old Pencil models and further clean up its product line.
