Google is facing a class action lawsuit filed by three cartoonists and a photographer in a California court, alleging that Google's use of billions of copyrighted works, including its own, to train Imagen AI software models violates copyright laws. Imagen is a model for generating text to images. The lawsuit claims that Google and its parent company Alphabet Inc. are responsible for "large-scale copyright infringement.".
