A government notice shows that Tesla plans to lay off 693 employees at its factory in Nevada, USA, as part of its global layoff plan of 10%. According to US labor laws, companies with 100 or more employees must notify relevant departments 60 days in advance when planning to close or lay off employees on a large scale. Tesla announced earlier this month that it will lay off 6020 employees in Texas and California.
