IBM announced on April 24th local time that it will acquire software company HashiCorp for $35 per share in cash, with an enterprise value of $6.4 billion.
IBM stated, "HashiCorp has a strong track record in helping customers manage today's complex infrastructure and applications. By combining IBM's product portfolio and expertise with HashiCorp's capabilities and talent, we will create a comprehensive hybrid cloud platform designed specifically for the AI era."
