Recently, Xiaoniu Electric held a new product launch event and released three new cars, including the new generation flagship electric motorcycle NX, flagship electric motorcycle NXT, and intelligent off-road electric motorcycle X3, which continue the first product N1. According to official data from Xiaoniu Electric, the NXT has been on sale for one month, with omnichannel sales exceeding 125 million and a total sales volume of 13349 vehicles. Among them, the high-end version of the NXT Ultra accounted for 48% of sales, far exceeding expectations.
"The popularity of the NXT Master Edition (Ultra) has exceeded our expectations, resulting in production capacity not meeting the current stage. We have now mobilized all available resources and made every effort to ramp up production capacity to ensure that everyone's cars are taken offline, shipped, and delivered as soon as possible," said Li Yan, CEO of Xiaoniu Electric.
According to the 2023 financial report released by Xiaoniu Electric, its overseas sales system was temporarily suspended due to lower than expected sales in the previous year. Therefore, on one hand, Xiaoniu Electric has reversed its decline with a series of new products, and on the other hand, it has restructured its European sales system, no longer relying solely on agents, but establishing self operated channels in key European countries and regions.
The results of the above measures have already begun to show. In the first quarter of 2024, sales of Xiaoniu electric vehicles reached 129139 units, a year-on-year increase of 37%. Among them, the sales volume in the Chinese market was 110115 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 35%. Affected by the driving effect of new cars, the sales of Xiaoniu electric vehicles have been continuously increasing. It is expected that with the promotion of new models and expanding sales channels, the annual sales volume of 2024 is expected to reach between 1 million and 1.2 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of about 41% to 69%.
Overseas sales have also increased. In the first quarter of 2024, the company sold 19024 vehicles in the international market, a year-on-year increase of 48%. It is reported that Xiaoniu Electric is one of the earliest electric vehicle companies to go global. The company was established in 2014, and the first product N1 was launched in the market the following year. In the third year, it aimed to target overseas markets. By 2023, Xiaoniu Electric has covered 54 countries in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and other regions overseas. (Li Lei)
