In late afternoon trading on Monday, the stock price of chip design company Arm rose after Reuters reported that Nvidia was using Arm's technology to design new personal computer chips.
Arm's stock price has recently risen by about 6%. Reuters reported that Advanced Micro Devices also plans to use Arm's technology to manufacture personal computer chips.
Arm's stock price is still slightly below the IPO price of $51. The company went public in September and is one of the most anticipated new shares of the year.
NVIDIA's stock price rose on Monday. AMD's stock price fell.
