On April 16th, Dr. Xu Menglei, Senior Researcher of Jingke Energy Co., Ltd., introduced the company's product positioning for the next few years at the 6th Forum on Perovskite, Heterojunction and Stacked Battery. Jingke Energy plans to manufacture perovskite/TOPCon stacked batteries with an efficiency greater than 34.0% by 2026. Prior to this, it is planned to increase the efficiency of TOPCon passive contact batteries to 26.2% -26.5% by 2024; The plan for 2025 is to achieve a total passive contact battery efficiency of 26.8% -27.0% for TOPCon.
Xu Menglei introduced that Jingke Energy has chosen TOPCon as the bottom battery for perovskite stacking. In terms of technical accumulation, Jingke's high-performance N-type TOPCon bottom battery ensures the high open circuit voltage (Voc) demand of perovskite/TOPCon stacked batteries for the bottom battery. Using perovskite passivation enhancement technology and composite layer optimization, the company has developed an efficient dual ended perovskite/TOPCon battery complete process, with a maximum certified efficiency of 32.33%. Perovskite/TOPCon stacked batteries exhibit good optical and thermal stability. TOPCon batteries have excellent high-temperature stability, providing a wider window for material selection and process development of intermediate composite layers and perovskite top batteries.
