On October 9, Amazon Cloud Technology in the official wechat public number news, Amazon Cloud Technology global sales, marketing and service senior vice president Matt Garman announced the change of Greater China leaders, by Chu Ruisong to succeed Zhang Wenyi.

After four years as Amazon's global vice president and executive director of Amazon Cloud Technologies Greater China, Ms. Chang will take on a new leadership role to return to her family, Garman said. The company will announce her new role later, and will announce that Chu Ruisong will take over the position.
Chu has 30 years of experience in enterprise software, IT consulting, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Amazon Cloud Technology, Chu served as Vice President of Baidu Group and was part of Baidu's senior management team, where he was responsible for leading Baidu Apollo smart car business.
In addition, Amazon Cloud Technologies announced that its fully managed generative AI service Amazon Bedrock is now available. Customers can use high-performance foundation models from many leading AI companies and a range of features needed to build generative AI applications, simplifying the development process while ensuring privacy and security. Amazon Bedrock adds Amazon Titan Embeddings and Meta Llama 2 models, the company said. Adidas, BMW Group, GoDaddy, Merck, NatWest Group, Persistent, PGA TOUR, Takenaka Corporation and Traeger Companies like Grills are applying generative AI innovations from Amazon Cloud to reshape their products and services.
