Most of the new forces of car manufacturing have seized the "gold nine" this traditional sales season, showing a general upward trend. Among them, ideal car ranked first in the new car delivery list in September, once again refreshing the sales record in a single month; Back to the second best-selling zero-run car, based on the blessing of global self-research technology, quickly hit the combination of "extended range + pure electricity". Weilai Automobile and Xiaopeng Automobile, which had experienced sales lows before, have basically recovered, and both had substantial growth in September. In contrast, Nezha Automobile, which rose to the top last year and won the championship in one fell swoon, has not yet reversed the situation of negative year-on-year growth.
The National Day holiday did not disrupt the rhythm of the release of the "report card" of the new forces of domestic car manufacturing. On the first day of October, many new domestic car makers announced their September sales. Data show that in September, the sales of Ideal, zero Run, NiO, Xiaopeng and Nezha were 36,060, 15,800, 15,641, 15,310, 13,211, an increase of 212.7%, 43.1%, 43.8%, 80.8%, -26.6%. The cumulative sales in the first three quarters were 244,225, 88,827, 109,993, 81,443 and 97,770, respectively, with year-on-year increases of 180.95%, 1.43%, 33.43%, -17.36% and -12.07%.
According to the official data released by Skyworth Automobile, it delivered a total of 3,635 new cars in September, including 1,420 overseas exports, an increase of 142%.

Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Automobile, said, "In September, with the continuous growth of market demand, we achieved a number of historic breakthroughs, weekly sales, monthly sales and orders have hit new highs, of which Ideal Automobile's September single month orders have exceeded 40,000. The three models of the ideal L series have exceeded 10,000 bicycles delivered for two consecutive months."
Ideal Motors said in its second-quarter financial report that it plans to deliver 40,000 units in the November challenge month. At the same time, according to the latest plan, the ideal car will hit the annual sales target of 300,000 vehicles this year. According to the current growth momentum, the ideal car is fully expected to achieve these two new goals.
At the same time that sales have repeatedly reached new highs, the construction of the ideal automobile energy replenishment network has also made phased progress. According to the official news, as of September 30, ideal has 109 high-speed supercharging stations put into operation in the country, covering 11 provinces and 34 cities, with 345 fast filling piles.
Following closely behind, Zero Run Car returned to the number two position in sales in September, overtaking NIo. Some analysts believe that the key factor for the growth of zero running car sales is that it has significantly reduced the price of all products and launched a number of new cars with extended range versions.
In September, Zero Run C01 super extended range and Zero Run C11 super extended range models were officially launched. "The super extended range model represented by zero Run C01 super extended range will reap bright market feedback in the future," Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman and CEO of Zero Run technology, said that based on the blessing of global self-developed technology, zero run cars can quickly play a combination of "extended range + pure electricity".
Previously, Jinghua, senior vice president and secretary of the Board of directors of Zero Run cars, said in the 2023 interim earnings conference call that the average price of zero run cars has reached 130,000 yuan, and will be positive in a single month before the end of the year, and in the next few months, monthly sales will strive to reach 15,000-20,000 units.
Weilai Automobile and Xiaopeng Automobile, which had experienced sales lows before, have basically recovered, and both had substantial growth in September. However, it is a little regrettable that NIO failed to achieve its expectation of "stabilizing at more than 20,000 vehicles".
Previously, Li Bin, chairman of NIO, had estimated that the monthly sales of the ET5, ET5T, ES6 and EC6 listed in September totaled four models that NIO was selling or reached 15,000-20,000 units, and the sales of the remaining models increased, and the monthly sales were confident to stabilize at more than 20,000 units.
At the "NIO IN 2023 NIO Innovation and Technology Day" held in September, Li Bin blunted, "All the time, the industry evaluation of NIO (label) is a good service, I am very unconvinced, in addition to user service, NIO also attaches importance to technology research and development." Recently, some peers and media sent me private letters suggesting that NIO save money by reducing R&D investment, I am very touched, but in order to lead the technology, NIO will continue to maintain the intensity of investment in research and development!"
According to Li Bin, NIO has laid out 12 full-stack technologies and actions in the field of intelligent electric vehicles, including chips and on-board intelligent hardware, battery systems, electric drive systems, vehicle engineering, operating systems, mobile Internet, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, intelligent energy, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, global digital operations and other key technology fields. In contrast to the general rise, Nezha Automobile has not yet reversed the negative growth of the same period last year. Last year, Nezha rose to the top of the New Forces sales list. But this year, Nezha seems to be running out of steam. Some analysts pointed out that the key reason why Nezha is difficult to continue its growth momentum is that high-end models have been slow to open the situation in the market.
