On March 28th, JPMorgan announced the launch of the 2024 Career Connect talent development program in collaboration with Yishe. It is reported that this skills training project aimed at college students who have experienced personal development bottlenecks aims to provide green economy related knowledge learning, business innovation, and green skills training for freshmen to juniors in ordinary universities, and connect college students with enterprise employee volunteers to improve their vocational skills and future employment competitiveness after entering society.
Xiong Bihua, President of JPMorgan Chase Bank (China) Co., Ltd., said: "The Career Connect talent training program is a professional skills training program launched by JPMorgan Chase worldwide in 2022. It continues to help the career development of young college students and company employees in nine markets around the world by 'linking' them. Since the program was launched in China last year, this year we are happy to work with Yishe to launch the 2024 Career Connect talent training program focusing on green skills training, and hope to continue to help college students better seize the opportunities brought by economic transformation and contribute to the sustainable development of society by contributing their own strength and resources."
According to the definition of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, green skills refer to the knowledge, abilities, values, and attitudes required to cultivate, acquire, and support sustainable and resource efficient societies. In this context, the 2024 Career Connect talent training program will bring together various forces and resources from universities, enterprises, and others to actively focus on and assist the development of green vocational skills for young people.

It is reported that in the first half of this year, the project plan will connect 100 college students with about 120 employee volunteers from JPMorgan Chase. Through a series of activities such as green courses, workshops, and business visits, it will help students learn knowledge, policies, and innovation related to the green economy; And through simulated interviews and practical exercises in different work scenarios, provide targeted exercises and suggestions for students to achieve better development in the workplace in the future. Volunteer employees from all major legal entities of JPMorgan Chase in China will be invited to participate in this project, including JPMorgan Chase Bank (China) Co., Ltd., JPMorgan Securities (China) Co., Ltd., JPMorgan Futures Co., Ltd., and Morgan Fund Management (China) Co., Ltd.
