On the 20th local time, US President Biden announced a preliminary agreement between the US Department of Commerce and Intel Corporation. Intel's computer chip factories in Arizona, Ohio, New Mexico, and Oregon will receive $19.5 billion in subsidies, including $8.5 billion in direct funding and $11 billion in loans.
