On Monday (March 18) local time, non partisan Federal Senator Bernie Sanders, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, and more than 20 members of the House of Representatives publicly wrote to Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, requesting the Federal Reserve to establish a clear timetable for the central bank's interest rate cuts. They emphasize that the current excessively tight monetary policy has led to harmful economic consequences.
