The European Commission has launched a formal investigation into Alibaba's AliExpress to assess whether it has violated the Digital Services Act. The European Commission announced on March 14th that it has initiated formal procedures to assess whether Alibaba's global AliExpress has violated the Digital Services Act (DSA) in the following areas: risk management and reduction, content review and internal complaint handling mechanisms, transparency of advertising and recommendation systems Traceability of traders and data access for researchers.
