Ideal Automobile stated that in response to user demand, it has decided to add the 2024 Ideal L7 and L8 models equipped with CDC sport suspension (spiral spring+CDC continuous variable damping damper), and will continue to use Air's model name. The two new models are planned to be launched and delivered in May this year. Before the delivery of the new Air model, the 2023 Ideal L7 Air and L8 Air equipped with CDC sport suspension will continue to be sold.
At the same time, Ideal Automobile stated that the current 2024 Ideal L7 and L8 model series will be adjusted, with names changed from Air, Pro, and Max to Pro, Max, and Ultra. The naming of the 2024 Ideal L9 Max will also be adjusted synchronously to the Ideal L9 Ultra.

According to the announcement, the 2024 Ideal L7 Air is priced at 301800 yuan, while the 2023 Ideal L7 Air is priced at 319800 yuan, with a difference of 18000 yuan. The price of the 2024 Ideal L8 Air is also 18000 yuan lower than the price of the 2023 Ideal L8 Air.
Ideal Automobile states that the new naming system is clearer and easier to understand: under the new configuration system, Ultra represents the top of the line (large battery), Max represents the ideal AD Max, Pro represents the ideal AD Pro, and Air represents the sport suspension+CDC (coil spring). All models have significantly improved compared to the 2023 model; At the price level, the pricing of the 2024 L series has been fully implemented, aligning with the prices of the same model after promotion in 2023.
