On the evening of October 24th, He Xiaopeng announced at the Xiaopeng Automotive Technology Day that the Xiaopeng XNGP system has the technical capability to support urban intelligent driving nationwide, and will be fully promoted to all XNGP users through OTA through batch opening of cities. Currently, 5 cities have been opened, with an increase to 25 cities by the end of November and another 50 cities by the end of December.
He Xiaopeng also stated that in the future, there will be more regional coverage and a shadow mode will be launched to invite users to participate in the open plan, in order to improve more traffic lights, lane lines, and intersection information with regional characteristics. In addition, the Pro version of the Xiaopeng G6/G9/P7i model will also receive an upgrade in intelligent driving capabilities, and public testing will begin on October 24th.
