Airbus received a $4.66 billion aircraft order from Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific

The European planemaker said the agreement doubles the total number of aircraft on order for Cathay's A320neo family to 64, of which 13 have already been delivered.
Cathay Pacific said that, as it had indicated in August, it had exercised an option to purchase a further 32 aircraft under an agreement it entered into with Airbus in 2017.
The Hong Kong flag carrier said the deal has been secured by Swire Pacific (0019.HK) and Air China (0753.HK). Air China, which together hold more than 50 percent of the voting rights in Cathay Pacific.
