On March 4th local time, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index showed that Amazon founder Bezos surpassed American entrepreneur Musk to once again become the world's richest person.
According to reports, this is the first time Bezos has won the title of world's richest person since 2021. In 2017, Bezos surpassed IT veteran and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates for the first time to become the world's richest person.
According to reports, Tesla's US stock price fell 7.2%, and CEO Musk's net assets fell to $1977 billion, surpassed by Amazon founder Bezos for $2003 billion.
The Wall Street Journal reported that most of Bezos' wealth comes from e-commerce giant Amazon. In 1994, he founded Amazon in his own garage in the Seattle area. He also founded the space company Blue Origins and spent $250 million to acquire The Washington Post.
