Affected by the Spring Festival holiday, sales of NIO, Lingpao, Nezha, and Xiaopeng all failed to exceed 10000 units in February; Among them, the sales of NIO, Nezha, and Xiaopeng have declined to varying degrees year-on-year. Last weekend (March 2nd), Zero Run Motors released a new product called "FamilyBucket", which includes four models: the all-new C11, all-new C01, all-new T03, and C10.

"Since last year, although many people have said that Zero Run is the 'king of rolls', what Zero Run has focused on is not price, but innovative technology, product quality, and user value. Zero Run aims to innovate and sharpen with care, so that more users can enjoy good and affordable products."
Coincidentally, the day before this (March 1st), Ideal Automobile also released the "Family Bucket" - MEGA, as well as four new products including the 2024 Ideal L7, 8, and 9.
"With the release and delivery of new models, our goal is to return to the monthly delivery level of 50000 vehicles by March," said Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Automobile.
Regarding last month's sales performance, Li Xiang candidly stated, "In February, after experiencing an 8-day Spring Festival holiday, the ideal L-series model year switch, and some models sold out, we achieved a daily delivery volume of nearly a thousand vehicles (excluding the Spring Festival holiday), which was a significant increase compared to February last year."
In fact, "influenced by the Spring Festival holiday, most manufacturers do not immediately start production after the holiday; in addition, the enthusiasm for car consumption is mostly weak in the days before and after the Spring Festival," said Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. "It can be expected that the car market sales in February will be at a low point in recent years."
The data shows that in February, the sales of Wenjie, Ideal, NIO, Zero Run, Nezha, and Xiaopeng were 21142 vehicles, 51416 vehicles, 18187 vehicles, 18443 vehicles, 16117 vehicles, and 12795 vehicles, respectively; Among them, Ideal, NIO, Zero Run, Nezha, and Xiaopeng increased by 21.85%, -33.11%, 105%, -39.59%, and -24.38% year-on-year, respectively.
In the first two months, the sales of Wenjie, Ideal, NIO, Lingpao, Nezha, and Xiaopeng were 54115 vehicles, 20251 vehicles, 8132 vehicles, 6566 vehicles, 6085 vehicles, and 4545 vehicles respectively; Among them, Ideal, NIO, Zero Run, Nezha, and Xiaopeng increased by 61.88%, -11.98%, 334.47%, 0.17%, and 13.98% year-on-year, respectively.
After reviewing the sales data for February, the reporter found that both Wenjie and Ideal's monthly sales exceeded the threshold of 20000 vehicles, while Wenjie, with a slight advantage of 891 vehicles, firmly holds the top position among new domestic car manufacturers. Previously, WENJIE announced that it will continue to work hard to increase production capacity in order to shorten the delivery cycles of various versions of the 2023 WENJIE M5 and 2024 WENJIE M7 models.
In contrast, sales of NIO, Zero Run, Nezha, and Xiaopeng have all failed to exceed 10000 vehicles, while NIO, Nezha, and Xiaopeng have all experienced varying degrees of year-on-year decline.
However, "with the ramp up of production capacity after the Spring Festival and the resolution of individual supply chain bottlenecks, the production capacity of the Xiaopeng X9 will be significantly increased from March, accelerating delivery," said Xiaopeng Motors.
Previously, it was reported that "Xiaopeng Motors' suppliers have prepared for monthly sales of 30000 to 40000 in the second half of the year."
What is even more noteworthy is that Xiaopeng Motors has made new progress in cooperation with Volkswagen Group. On February 29th, the two sides announced that "they have signed a platform and software joint development technology cooperation agreement, and both electric vehicle models will be launched in 2026, with the first product being an SUV model."
At the same time, both parties will also purchase shared automotive and platform components through a joint procurement plan. Through joint procurement and the application of innovative technologies in vehicle design and engineering, the product development cycle will be shortened by more than 30%.
Nezha Motors also announced recently that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with 360 Company to jointly release the large model product NETA GPT, which will apply advanced AI technologies such as 360's intelligent brain, search, and digital human in the cockpit and other fields. Both parties also announced that the large model product NETA GPT will first be installed on Nezha L and will be pushed to users through OTA. According to the plan, Nezha L will be launched in April.
