Faraday Future sues Ding Lei and affiliated companies of Chinese Express for infringement of trade secrets and unfair competition

On March 5th, Beijing time, Faraday Future announced that it would file a lawsuit against Ding Lei, a former executive of FF and founder of Chinese Express (along with other affiliated companies, hereinafter referred to as "Chinese Express"), to the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China on the grounds of infringement of trade secrets and unfair competition. The company requests the court to order compensation for the corresponding losses and further demands that Chinese Express immediately stop infringing on the trade secrets related to FF 91, including but not limited to stopping (i) using the trade secrets in question, (ii) designing, developing, producing, and selling suspected infringing products using the trade secrets in question, (iii) selling suspected infringing products or providing after-sales services for suspected infringing products using the trade secrets in question, And immediately cease the alleged unfair competition behavior.
