On February 29th local time, Fisker announced plans to lay off 15% of employees and stated in a statement that if funds are not increased, the company's existing capital may not be sufficient to support development in the next 12 months. The CEO of the company, Henrik Fisker, stated that they are in talks with another "large car manufacturer" regarding financing matters.
