As one of China's new energy automotive companies, Xiaopeng Motors is actively expanding its overseas markets. The recent focus has been on the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa markets. Starting from the second quarter, multiple models of Xiaopeng have been launched and delivered in five countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
According to Xiaopeng's official WeChat account, on Thursday it partnered with Ali&, a distributor in the United Arab Emirates; Sons has reached a strategic partnership, and currently Xiaopeng has partnered with Ali&, a distributor group in the United Arab Emirates; Sons, Egypt RAYA Group, Azerbaijan SR Group, Jordan T Gargor& Fils Group and Gargour Asia SAL Group from Lebanon have reached a strategic partnership.
According to the company, in 2024, Xiaopeng will accelerate its overseas market expansion with an intelligent leading strategy. After reaching a strategic cooperation with dealer groups from five countries in the Middle East and Africa, Xiaopeng Motors will start selling two SUV models, Xiaopeng G6 and G9, in the United Arab Emirates from Q3. The Xiaopeng G6 and G9 are models developed based on the global market and are products built on the Xiaopeng SEPA 2.0 "Fuyao" comprehensive intelligent evolution architecture.
Meanwhile, Xiaopeng P7 and G9 will start delivery in Jordan and Lebanon in Q2, and in Egypt in Q3.
The cooperation with the Middle East and African markets marks another important "first step" for Xiaopeng Motors on the path of globalization. The United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Egypt were the first new markets for Xiaopeng Motors to enter the Gulf, Central Asia, and Africa regions, respectively.
Meanwhile, this year it will also expand to other European markets including Germany, the UK, Italy, and France. In 2024, Xiaopeng Motors will focus on Europe and potential Middle East and Africa regions to launch more compatible models for delivery, in order to increase sales and market share.
Xiaopeng Motors stated in a press release that it will comprehensively accelerate its overseas expansion to 2.0, continuously focus on intelligent and localized strategies, and also continuously innovate in technology, products, and business models, committed to providing overseas consumers with high-quality, cost-effective, and local market demand products.
