On February 7th local time, Walt Disney and Fortress Night game developer Epic Games announced their collaboration to develop a brand new gaming and entertainment world. Disney will invest $1.5 billion to acquire equity in Epic Games, in conjunction with this multi-year project. This transaction still needs to meet customary transaction conditions, including obtaining approval from regulatory authorities.
