Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari affirmed the recent decline in inflation, but pointed out that the Fed has not yet reached its target. Kashkali said at an event on Tuesday, "We haven't fully reached the target yet, but we have made significant progress in inflation. If we continue what we have experienced, we will return to the 2% target." He pointed out that the inflation indicators for three and six months are "basically" at 2%.
