Previously, Musk was reported to have taken drugs such as ketamine hallucinogens, LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. Musk is said to have publicly taken liquid form of ecstasy at a party.
Tesla's board of directors has also expressed concerns about this, with some demanding that Musk go to a drug rehabilitation facility and temporarily suspend work. Larry Ellison, a close friend of Musk, former Tesla director, and co-founder of Oracle, once urged Musk to travel to Hawaii in the winter of 2022 to stay away from work and drugs.

Obviously, Tesla's board of directors is well aware of Musk's drug abuse situation, but unfortunately, according to insiders, Tesla's board did not investigate this issue and did not have written records expressing concerns about it.
Another source said that some of Musk's friends and company directors believed that they must take illegal drugs with Musk, otherwise it would make Musk restless. At the same time, taking medication is also an important means for both parties to maintain friendship.
Musk himself responded last month that if the medication does indeed help improve his net productivity, he will definitely continue to take it. He also defended ketamine, stating that research has shown that the drug can be used to treat depression.
But experts warn that the drugs Musk takes may pose multiple health risks, especially considering that Musk is already 52 years old. Possible side effects include arrhythmia, urinary incontinence, and if the user has bipolar disorder, these medications may also lead to mental illness.
Musk is currently the leader of six companies. In addition to Tesla, he also manages space exploration company SpaceX, social platform X formerly known as Twitter, tunnel mining company The Boring Co., brain computer company Neuralink, and artificial intelligence startup xAI.
