A US appeals court announced on February 2 that it will hear appeals from JetBlue Airlines and Spiritual Airlines regarding their $3.8 billion acquisition in June. Earlier this week, these two airlines requested the First Circuit Court of Appeals in the United States to process their appeals as soon as possible, so that the court can hear the debate in May and make a ruling before the deadline for completing the transaction stipulated in the merger agreement on July 24th.
