Former senior Apple executive Norwotny has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Rivian Automotive Projects. Norwotny has nearly 25 years of work experience at Apple and has played an important role in the development of several generations of iPods and iPhones. He was selected by former hardware engineering leader Dan Riccio to help lead the development of the iPad. Novotney also assisted in launching the Apple car project Titan as a core member.
